Area Sampling Frame Survey

Friday, 26 July 2024 - The KSA survey aims to calculate the harvested area for rice and corn. BPS also carries out the Tiling Survey. The components produced by the KSA Survey, if combined with the components from the Ubinan Survey in the form of food crop productivity, will produce new information, namely Food Crop Production. Food Crop Production Data is useful for monitoring food security in Indonesia.

This survey is a relatively new survey because it has only been implemented since 2018 for KSA Rice and 2019 for KSA Corn. The survey method is by photographing the growth phases of rice and corn plants from selected segments to obtain objective and up to date observation results.
