Development of the Consumer Price Index Mey 2025

In May 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Minahasa Selatan Regency of 1.88 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.73.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.86 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.40 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.30 percent; the transportation group by 0.22 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 1.53 percent; the education group by 0.01 percent; and the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.80 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced deflation were the clothing and footwear group by 0.59 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.66 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.30 percent. Meanwhile, the health group tends not to experience significant index changes.
